👋 Mark Miyashita

Mark Miyashita has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. 👋 Mark co-founded Supermove in 2019, where they sserveas the CTO. Prior to that, they co-founded and served as the CEO of Akio Labs from 2018 to 2019.

From 2015 to 2018, Mark co-founded and was the CTO of Quad. In this role, they led the engineering team and built APIs, React and React Native apps for multiple platforms. 👋 Mark also developed complex integrations with university learning management systems and created a robust infrastructure for processing assignments and syllabuses.

Before Quad, Mark co-founded and served as the CTO of Leada in 2014. 👋 Mark participated in an ed-tech accelerator program and presented Leada to investors.

Mark gained valuable experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Asana in 2014, where they primarily worked on the development of the Asana iOS 3.0 app.

In 2013, Mark worked as a Software Engineer Intern/Part-Time at Yelp. In this role, they developed a flow analysis tool for visualizing user flows and contributed to performance improvements and feature additions in the Yelp iOS app.

Prior to their internships, Mark served as an Undergraduate Student Instructor for CS61A and a Head Reader for CS10 at UC Berkeley. 👋 Mark also worked as a Course Reader for CS61A, reviewing code and offering guidance to students.

Mark's earlier experience includes working as a Software Engineer at Kloudless, Inc. in 2012, where they focused on adding automation for email attachments. 👋 Mark also worked as a Residential Computing Consultant at UC Berkeley, providing technical support and leading workshops on effective web usage.

Additionally, Mark worked as a Website Designer/Editor for Mac Hints from BinaryAge from 2012 to 2013, where they were responsible for website design, article contribution, and implementing suggested features.

Mark Miyashita completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley from 2011 to 2014.
