Andrew Shune currently serves as the Interim Head of Powertrain and Senior Manager for the Electric Propulsion Unit (EPU) at Supernal, overseeing key areas including Energy Storage Systems, High Voltage EWIS, and Powertrain Thermal for EVTOL applications since April 2024. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Karma Automotive, where Shune held roles as Senior Director of EE Systems Architecture, Integration & Validation, Director of EE Systems Engineering, and Director of High Voltage Battery from April 2014 to May 2025. Additionally, Shune worked as the Global Director of Powertrain System Integration at Faraday Future from September 2021 to May 2025 and as a Senior EMC Specialist at Fisker Automotive, leading the HEV EMC Design, Validation, and Certification from March 2009 to April 2014. Early career experience includes serving as a Senior EMC Specialist at Daimler Chrysler from 1990 to 2009, contributing to international EMC standards and advising on vehicle EMC architecture.
