David Guerrero

David Guerrero is a seasoned aerospace engineer with extensive experience in flight control systems and avionics. Currently serving as a Senior Flight Control Systems Engineer at Supernal and a Flight Controls Systems Engineer at the Urban Air Mobility Division of Hyundai Motor Group since October 2021, David has a proven track record of decomposing aircraft-level functions into detailed specifications and collaborating with pilots and engineers on design studies. Prior to these roles, David contributed to Sikorsky as an Autonomy & Flight Controls Software Engineer, where responsibilities included designing critical simulation models, developing autonomous control algorithms, and conducting thorough testing to ensure compliance with rigorous safety standards. David's career began with hands-on roles in avionics at companies such as Lara Avionics, Honeywell, and United Airlines, showcasing a strong foundation in both theory and practical applications of aviation systems. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Florida International University and an Associate degree in Air Traffic Control from Broward College.
