Shane Lewis

Shane Lewis is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in drive system design and power transmission. Currently serving as a Sr. Drive System Design Engineer at Supernal since August 2022, Shane previously held the position of Power Transmission and Dynamic Component Engineer at Piasecki Aircraft Corporation from January 2019 to August 2022, focusing on dynamic components and powertrain assemblies for R&D programs. Prior to that, Shane contributed as a Transmission Design Engineer at Sikorsky Aircraft, designing transmission assemblies for both commercial and military helicopters. Shane's experience also includes roles as an Engineering Intern at Gamajet Cleaning Systems, an Assistant Mechanic at Lewis Automotive, and a Student Employee at Findlay Dining Commons. Shane holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Fairfield University.
