Padmanabh P. Bhatt

Padmanabh P. Bhatt is the SVP, Intellectual Property and Chief Scientific Officer at Supernus Pharmaceuticals. Padmanabh has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on drug delivery and development.

Padmanabh began their career at ALZA Corporation in 1996 as Director of Technical Development. In 2001, they joined POINT Biomedical Corporation as Vice President of R&D and Chief Technology Officer. Padmanabh then spent two years at Shire Laboratories, Inc. as Vice President, Advanced Drug Delivery before joining Supernus in 2003.

Padmanabh has played a key role in the development and commercialization of several products, including the bestselling ADHD drug Concerta. Padmanabh has also been awarded over 60 patents for their work in drug delivery and formulation.
