Rob Salmond

Rob Salmond is an experienced Site Reliability Engineer and Lead Instructor at SuperOrbital since March 2021. Previously, Salmond held the position of Site Reliability Engineer at Descartes Labs from November 2018 to March 2021, and served as a Software Engineer at Cisco between September 2017 and September 2018. Earlier experience includes working as an Operations Engineer at SolarWinds, following the acquisition of a product from a previous team, and prior roles as a QA Engineer and Technical Support Engineer at AppNeta from May 2013 to September 2016. Salmond’s career began at RBC, where contributions included roles as a Technical System Analyst and Production Analyst from 2004 to 2012.
