Marian Galik

Marian Galik currently serves as the Head of Software Engineering at SuperScale since January 2021, following a notable tenure at Exponea from September 2012 to March 2020, where roles included Senior Software Engineer Manager for both the Analytics Team and Backend. At Exponea, Marian was instrumental in the architecture, development, and operations of the proprietary in-memory database IMF using C++ and Go, alongside leading analytics platform enhancements in Python. Experience includes managing teams of up to 12 developers, overseeing migrations to cloud environments like Kubernetes and Google Cloud, and contributing to the design of high-performance distributed databases and software for loyalty programs. Educational background comprises a Master's degree in Applied Informatics and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Informatics from Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave.
