Shyam Kumar

Shyam Kumar has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Shyam is currently working as the Chief of Staff to the CEO and founder at super{set}, where they support the success of the CEO and portfolio companies. Prior to this, Shyam worked as a Consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) from July 2021 to February 2023. Shyam also pursued an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management from August 2019 to June 2021.

Before their MBA, Shyam was a Co-Founder and Head of Product at Proteolux from April 2019 to December 2020. Shyam had also worked at Apple, first as a Software Engineer on the Mobile and Messaging Apps Team from May 2016 to April 2019. During this time, they played a significant role in building the services powering Today At Apple on the Apple Store App and WeChat. Shyam then transitioned to the role of Engineering Project Manager in the Apple Rotation Program, where they led key software projects to combat fraud in the APAC region.

Shyam's early experience includes working as a Software Engineering Intern at Apple in 2014, where they focused on fraud analytics and prevention for the Applied Machine Learning Team. Shyam also worked as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Guidewire Software in 2013.

Overall, Shyam Kumar has a strong background in technology, consulting, and project management, with a focus on driving innovation, building products, and combating fraud.

Shyam Kumar pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Entrepreneurship & Innovation Track from the MIT Sloan School of Management, starting in 2019 and completing it in 2021. Before that, they attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Shyam also pursued a minor in Public Policy during their undergraduate studies.
