Rachael Sears

Rachael Sears, PhD, is a skilled educator with extensive experience in various educational roles. Currently serving as a Content Specialist at YES Prep Public Schools since July 2021, Rachael previously held the position of Dual Credit Teacher at Aldine ISD from August 2019 to November 2021 and worked as an ELA Teacher at YES Prep Public Schools and Houston ISD from July 2017 to August 2017 and August 2015 to August 2017, respectively. Additionally, Rachael served as an Adjunct Professor at Texas Southern University from January 2014 to August 2015. Rachael holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Rhetoric and Composition from the University of Houston, obtained in May 2022, a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from Texas Southern University, and a Bachelor's degree in Secondary English Education from Ouachita Baptist University.
