Cameron Courtney has a diverse work experience starting in 1990 with the Royal New Zealand Air Force as an Armourer. Cameron then held various roles at Coast Biologicals Ltd from 1991 to 2001, including Production and Warehousing Assistant, Accounts Receivable and Customer Services, Marketing Services Manager, Production Manager, and Operations Manager. Cameron served as Director at BizApex Limited from 2001 to 2003. Cameron then worked at Mondiale VGL as Logistics Manager and later as General Manager - Operations. Following this, they transitioned to A.P. Moller - Maersk, where they held several roles, including Global Client Development Manager, New Zealand Manager - Supply Chain Management, Director of Key Account Management, Global Implementation Manager, Programme Director, and Head of Customer Service and Operations. Their most recent roles were at The Warehouse Group as Head of Noel Leeming and Torpedo7 Logistics and Fulfilment, at Fliway Group as National Operations Manager - Transport, and currently, at Supply Chain Solutions as Business Manager and Head of Business Continuous Improvement.
Cameron Courtney completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialisation in Information Systems Management at Southern Cross University from 2000 to 2002. In 2007, they pursued a Project Management for Practitioners program at the University of Sydney. In 2013, Cameron completed a Vocational Course in "Way of Winning" at IMD. Additionally, they obtained Diploma Papers in "Managing Quality in the Workplace" and "Managing Occupational Safety and Health" from Massey University in 1999. Earlier, in 1996, they received a New Zealand Certificate in Science with a focus on Chemistry from Auckland University of Technology. Beginning their education journey, Cameron attended Macleans College in 1989, followed by Sacred Heart College - Auckland from 1984 to 1989.
