Job Summary:

As the Sr. Program Manager, you will be responsible for implementation and management of the agency-level programs, ensuring the required process, measurement, and controls are in place to achieve contractual requirements and profitability targets. You will also be responsible for oversight, management, and development of the Korean team and their performance under our awarded programs. You will lead by example in a fast-paced and agile environment, shifting gears as needed to provide support at the strategic, managerial, and tactical level fostering a team-focused environment that encourages others to learn and to grow.

Key Deliverables and Responsibility:

  • Oversee the Korea MRO program and team providing leadership, strategic direction, and oversight of program performance. Serves as the primary point of contact for DLA in-region, building and maintaining strong agency-level relationships.
  • Monitor and manage program performance to contractual metrics and rapidly address shortfalls and negative trends.
  • Conduct customer analysis to review margin, growth, and loss. Develops action plans to address areas of need.
  • Oversee and facilitate implementation of new procedures, workstations, and automation opportunities.
  • Monitors and measures performance of 3rd party subcontracted partners in support of program performance addressing shortcomings or challenges.
  • As the in-region primary point of contact, supports various administrative needs within Korea.
  • Supports business development opportunities in-region. Provides insight, contributes to proposal strategy and implementation practices upon successful award of new business opportunities.
  • Drives program sales through establishment of new accounts and customer referrals while tracking all opportunities within Salesforce. Develop and increase knowledgebase of US Military and US Government operations within region.
  • Generate follow-up leads via marketing campaigns, suppliers, internet inquiries and by DLA Troop Support, GSA, CSDs and other sources.
  • Partner with the VP of Global Sales to promote the sales process of the MRO & SOE program within region.
  • Visit customer sites to troubleshoot operational challenges, discuss relationship status, and seek order opportunities related to various programs. As needed, may travel to other countries within the INDOPACOM region for sales opportunities.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

Recruit staff to include interviewing, hiring, assigning work, training, coaching, mentoring, and ensuring consistent application of employee guidelines, processes, and procedures.

Conduct team and one-on-one meetings and foster personal growth opportunities.

Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising work; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.

Act as the primary point of contact for Korea and assist the Finance department with financials as needed.
