Dr.-Ing. Christian Hochmuth has a diverse and extensive work experience in various companies and roles related to strategic business transformation, digitalization, supply chain management, industry 4.0, and software engineering. Dr.-Ing. Christian is currently the Founder & CEO of SupplyET since January 2022. Prior to that, they were on parental leave and worked as a Principal at Horváth from October 2021 to March 2023. Before joining Horváth, they held leadership positions at thyssenkrupp, where they served as the Head of Foresight & Technologies at the Digital Sales Lab from February 2020 to September 2021 and as a Project Manager, Digitalization Lead at thyssenkrupp Management Consulting from January 2019 to January 2020. Dr.-Ing. Christian also gained valuable experience as a Senior Project Manager at Horváth from January 2017 to December 2018, and as a Manager and Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting from October 2014 to December 2016. Dr.-Ing. Hochmuth started their professional career at Bosch Rexroth as an IT Project Manager, Process Owner, and PhD Candidate in the field of Manufacturing Coordination and Technology from April 2008 to September 2014. Dr.-Ing. Christian began their career as a Research Assistant in Software Engineering at the Fraunhofer Institute for Machine Tools and Forming Technology IWU from April 2003 to March 2007.

Dr.-Ing. Christian Hochmuth has a diverse education history encompassing multiple fields of study. Dr.-Ing. Christian pursued a research visit supported by a scholarship in Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley. Dr.-Ing. Christian later pursued extra-occupational doctoral studies in Computer Science at Technische Universität Chemnitz, earning the degree of Doctor of Engineering (Dr.-Ing., equivalent to a PhD).

In addition to their doctoral studies, Dr.-Ing. Hochmuth also undertook an Executive MBA program with a focus on Business Integration. Dr.-Ing. Christian completed an international module in this program at both Boston University and Florida Gulf Coast University. Furthermore, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, specializing in Executive MBA Business Integration.

Further enhancing their expertise, Dr.-Ing. Hochmuth obtained a Master's level degree in Computer Science (Dipl.-Inf., equivalent to an MSc) from Technische Universität Chemnitz.
