Objective: We are looking for a Sr. DevSecOps Engineer to join our team Technology team. In this role, you will automate, monitor and apply security at all phases of the software lifecycle which includes planning, developing, building, testing, releasing. delivering, operating and monitoring.
As a Sr. DevSecOps Engineer, you will be liaising with the Developers and Managers to identify and apply security at every stage of the software development process. You should be detail-oriented and possess excellent technical abilities. We would love to have you on board if you have a strong technical background.
Responsibilities
Design, Build, Integrate, and Maintain the hosting infrastructure on the AWS Cloud Platform through Docker and Kubernetes.
Implement CI/CD Pipeline to ensure higher productivity for the development and testing teams. Integrate Open-Source License Scanning tools with CI/CD Pipeline.
Automate Deployment Process.
Set up reliable and efficient monitoring and alerting service.
Collaborate with the development team to set up a platform that is functional, highly scalable, fault-tolerant and resilient.
Build development and testing environments that can be easily replicated in other developer’s/QA engineer’s machines by implementing Infrastructure as a Code (IaaC)
Maintain AWS Cloud Infrastructure for 100% uptime.
Perform Scheduled Preventive Maintenance and Backup Activities on EC2 instances and RDS DB on AWS.
Implement Security tools/frameworks as per OWASP/CISO guidelines.
Perform Security Vulnerability Assessment on AWS Infrastructure and hosted application. Identify CVEs and fix them.
Perform vulnerability scanning on open-source libraries and provide fixes.
Serve as the primary point of contact for SRE activities and be responsible for the overall health, performance and scalability of our services.
Set up a ticketing system to track all infrastructure-related incidents and complement such a system with escalation procedures and tools.
Gain deep knowledge and expertise to support the team for quick deployment of new features, product enhancement and bug fixes to production.
Work in a fast-paced manner in agile development setup following scrum and Kanban practice.
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science/Information Science or related fields
6-8 Years of relevant experience as DevSecOps/SRE Engineer.
4-5 Years of hands-on experience with Container and Orchestration Technologies using Docker and Kubernetes.
4-5 Years of hands-on experience in setting up automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ArgoCD
4-6Years of hands-on experience in setting up IaaS using Chef/Puppet/Ansible.
Experience in Programming and Scripting with Python, Bash or Perl, and Terraform
AWS Certified Solution Architect preferred.
Knowledge of OWASP/CISO guidelines is good to have.
Experience with Open Source Vulnerability Scanning tools like Mend.io (Whitesource) is good to have.
In-depth understanding of network, security, and data flow between different services required.
Strong Inter-Personal and communication skills with the ability to work well in a small fast, paced team of diverse backgrounds and experience.
