Vesa Suontama

Vesa Suontama has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Vesa started their career as a Software Developer at KunnonData Oy in 1995. Vesa then worked as a Software Developer at Viasys Limited in 1997 before joining SSH Communications Security in 1998, where they progressed from a Software Engineer to a Chief Engineer/Smartcards and eventually became an R&D Manager. During their time at SSH, they trained international customers and played a key role in the company's growth. In 2005, they joined Navicore as an R&D Manager, where they built a development team and gained experience in recruiting and team building. In 2007, they became an R&D Team Leader at Wayfinder Systems before moving to Supponor in 2008. At Supponor, they started as the CTO and managed a team of professionals, developing a unique product for international sports broadcasting. The product has been widely used by leading sports federations globally. Overall, Vesa has shown expertise in product development, team management, and recruitment throughout their career.

Vesa Suontama completed their Master of Science degree in Computer Science and a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, where they studied from 1995 to 2001.
