Derrick Espadas, MBA, SSBBP has a diverse and extensive work experience. Derrick is currently the Owner and Managing Director at Supporting Strategies in Tucson. Prior to this role, they worked as an Adjunct Instructor in Business Communications at LaGuardia Community College. Derrick also served as the Chief Financial Officer at Khelp! In 2019, Derrick was the Director of Client Success at Spade Business Services and a Math Teacher at Pima Rose Academy. Derrick began their career as a Volunteer Tutor at Goodwill METRO, where they worked with youth involved with the justice system. Derrick also worked as a Science Educator at Brain STEM and an Accountant at Goodwill Industries of Southern Arizona. From 2015 to 2018, Derrick served as a Math and Music Instructor in AmeriCorps, focusing on mathematics and teaching leadership and responsibility through vocal and singing techniques.

Derrick Espadas, MBA, SSBBP has an extensive education history. Derrick obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business/Management with Honors from the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management between 2016 and 2019. Prior to that, they attended Pima Community College from 2007 to 2018, earning an A.S. in Accounting with Honors and an A.A. in Social Services with Honors.

In 2019, they pursued further education and completed a Graduate Certificate in Accounting from Indiana University Bloomington. During the same period, they also pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Syracuse University - Martin J. Whitman School of Management.
