Marcus Godfrey

Marcus Godfrey has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Marcus began their career in 1994 as a Lead Machine Operator at Scandura Inc. / Fenner Dunlop, where they were responsible for setup, monitoring, and maintaining a quality product in the manufacturing process of conveyor belting. Marcus also gained expertise in operating complex machinery and equipment. In 2001, they joined Sur-Seal, LLC as a Lead Operations Supervisor in production. Marcus then moved to Mueller - Innovative Custom Cut Solutions as a Production Operations Supervisor/Shipping Manager, where they directed employees in production, shipping, and warehouse areas, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and improving processes. In 2008, they ventured into entrepreneurship as an Owner Operator at Carolina Eagle Express, before briefly working as a Retail Sales Supervisor at HMS Hospitality. Overall, Marcus has demonstrated strong leadership, technical skills, and a commitment to safety and product quality throughout their career.

Marcus Godfrey has a diverse education history spanning several years and covering various fields of study. In 2023 to 2025, they obtained a Certification in CPR/AED & First Aid from Red Cross. In 2019, they earned a Certificate in Lean Simulation from Central Piedmont Community College. The previous year, they received a Certificate in Crestcom Bullet Proof Management from Ascendant Leadership, LLC. In 2016 to 2017, Marcus acquired a Certificate of Completion in Excel class 1 & 2 from Employers Association. Continuing back to 2012 to 2013, they obtained Auto Cad V.2013 1 & 2 Certificates from Central Piedmont Community College, specializing in Auto Cad for design and CAM Programming. Marcus completed their secondary education at West Mecklenburg High School, where they received a Diploma from 1989 to 1993. Additionally, they hold a Silver Certificate in Work keys from Central Piedmont Community College and a Certificate in Leadership for Lead Employees 1, 2, 3 from Employers Association. Lastly, Marcus has completed AS9100c & ISO9001:2008 Internal Auditor Training at North Carolina State University, earning a Certificate in that area.
