David Forgan and Ray McCague founded Sure Good Foods Ltd. in 2017. Sure Good Foods is the former Wilkinson Foods International Ltd. The new name was inspired by the Forgan family meat-packing business established in Winnipeg by World War II veteran, Jack Forgan. Jack was grandfather and mentor to his grandson, David. Their house brand was Sure-Good. Sure Good Foods provides experienced trading in pork, beef and poultry markets as well as more unique and diverse proteins. Being established as a global leader in the frozen meat business, Sure Good Foods is presently expanding its product line to include frozen vegetables and fruits, and juice concentrates and purees. We hold active memberships in the following associations: Canada Pork International, Canadian Meat Council, United States Meat Export Federation (USMEF), and United States Poultry & Egg Export Council (USAPEEC). Sure Good Foods provides expertise in the international sourcing and distribution of meat, poultry, IQF vegetables and fruits. By providing easily accessible staff regarding purchase consultation, and trading only in high quality products from recognized and certified suppliers, Sure Good Foods is able to ensure that its customers receive products that adhere to strict food safety requirements. We are actively selling product from around the globe into key Asian markets such as Japan, China, Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Viet Nam, Philippines, Singapore, &Malaysia. In North America, we buy and sell throughout Canada, United States and Mexico. In addition to covering these markets we are active in the Caribbean, Central and South American. Specifically our traders are selling product into Chile, Colombia, Peru, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Costa Rica. Our customer base also includes Western & Eastern Europe.
