Darren Lockyer has a diverse work experience in various companies. Darren started their career at Ballard Power Systems as a Manufacturing Engineer from 2000 to 2004. Darren then joined Schneider Electric and held multiple roles including Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Industrialization Project Lead, and Process Engineer. At Schneider Electric, they were responsible for managing engineering and technicians, process development, equipment maintenance, and strategic planning. In 2015, they joined Sure Grip Controls as a General Manager, overseeing day-to-day operations, employee development, and business growth. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President - Electronics Business Unit at Sure Grip Controls.
Darren Lockyer obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical from Memorial University of Newfoundland from 1994 to 2000. In addition, they hold certifications in PMC Level I from Pragmatic Institute, Ken Blanchard on Servant Leadership and Body Language for Leaders from LinkedIn, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
