Jasper Showers is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in web and API development. Jasper has worked in various companies such as Sure, Invitae, Kin + Carta, Ria Financial, and as a self-employed contractor.

Prior to that, Jasper worked as a Senior Web Software Engineer at Ria Financial, where they collaborated with a team to build an ASP.NET Web API. This API connected to an MS SQL database and provided endpoints for international money transfers.
Jasper also has experience in web development, having worked on various projects as a freelancer. Jasper developed websites using open-source platforms on the LAMP stack, including their own personal website, jshowers.com.
In their early career, Jasper worked at PaySimple as a Web Developer, utilizing .NET MVC and the WCF stack to maintain and improve marketing websites and web applications. Jasper worked in an agile environment with daily scrums and three-week release sprints.
Before that, Jasper was a Web Developer at Bridgeline Digital, working independently and on small teams to develop, test, and maintain .NET/SQL Server web applications for clients such as Budget Truck and PODS. Jasper consistently met project deadlines while facing challenges and problem-solving.
Jasper Showers attended the University of Northern Colorado from 2004 to 2006, where they studied Computer Science.
