Ken Mabe

Ken Mabe has a diverse range of work experience spanning several companies and industries. Ken began their career as a Crew Manager at Mitchum and Associates, where they were responsible for construction design and implementation. Ken then transitioned into the software industry, starting at Allscripts as a Special Products Specialist III and Trainer, where they trained clients on various report writers and created training materials. Ken continued their work at Allscripts in various roles, including Senior Quality Engineer and Technical Support Consultant, where they provided support to clients and installed software applications. Ken also worked as a Senior Quality Assurance Software Engineer at Hill-Rom, where they tested medical devices and software. Ken later joined SciQuest and Netsmart Technologies as a Product/Quality Assurance Analyst and Quality Assurance Engineer, respectively. Most recently, Ken worked at Allscripts as a Senior Quality Engineer before moving on to their current role as a QA Engineer at Surescripts.

Ken Mabe obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where they studied from 1988 to 1993. In addition to their formal education, they also hold certifications in "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences" and "Unconscious Bias" from LinkedIn, which they obtained in July 2020.
