Jenny Betu Kumeso

Jenny Betu Kumeso is currently an Étudiant at Sûreté du Québec and pursuing a doctorate with a scholarship at the Faculté de droit de l’Université de Montréal. Jenny holds the position of Vice-présidente aux étudiants internationaux at the Association des cycles supérieurs en droit (ACSED) and serves as an auxiliary teaching and research assistant at the Université de Montréal, specifically in international humanitarian law for the summer 2024 session. Previously, Jenny acted as a representative for the ONG Académie du Savoir et de l'Action pour le Développement in Kinshasa, where responsibilities included drafting minutes for general assembly sessions and executing specific mandates. Jenny practiced law as an avocate specializing in criminal law and human rights from 2018 to 2021 and worked as a contract analyst at Orange RDC. Educational qualifications include a doctorate in law from Université de Montréal, a Master's in Criminal Law from Nantes Université, a Master's in Business Administration from IAE Nantes, and a Master 1 in Criminal Law and Criminology from unikin.
