Francis GALLE

HEAD OF APPLICATION LABORATORY - Biosourced Surfactants at SurfactGreen

Francis GALLE has a diverse work experience in various roles related to surfactants and chemical engineering.

Francis began their career as a Research Assistant at Imperial College London in 2014, where they conducted literature research on copper-based catalysts and optimized the hydroamination reaction using mass spectrometry and NMR.

In 2015, Francis worked as a Detergent Manufacturing Quality Chemist at McBride, where their responsibilities included implementing methods for the insertion of powders, analyzing and correcting detergents, fabric softeners, WC gels, and descalers within the quality department.

In 2016, they interned at Aimée de Mars Parfums - VALDEM, where they gained experience in the perfumery laboratory.

In 2017, Francis joined Oleon as an R&D Engineer Intern, focusing on characterizing solvents and surfactants in agrochemicals, food industry, and cosmetics.

Francis then moved to SurfactGreen in 2017, where they held the position of Chemical Engineer, specializing in the characterization and formulation of surfactants. Later, they were promoted to the Head of Application Laboratory - Biosourced Surfactants in January 2019.

Francis Galle began their education in 2012 at Paris Saclay University (IUT Orsay), where they obtained a two-year technical qualification in Chemistry. From 2014 to 2017, they attended the National Graduate School of Engineering Chemistry of Lille, where they earned an MSc in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering specialized in Formulation. Their primary fields of study were Chemistry and Formulation.
