Rachel Burnham

Rachel Burnham has held multiple roles throughout their career. Rachel began their work experience in 2004 as an Elementary Education Teacher at East Hartford Public Schools and later transitioned to become a Literacy Coach & Curriculum Specialist. Rachel remained with the schools until 2016. In 2021, Rachel joined SurfCT as the Government Contracting Team Leader. Rachel then took on the position of Business Success Leader before being promoted to Director of Marketing & Client Experience in August 2022. Rachel's work experience spans both the education and marketing sectors.

Rachel Burnham has a strong educational background in the field of education. Rachel obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Connecticut, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Education at the University of Connecticut, which they completed in 2004. In addition, Rachel also participated in a Study Abroad Program at Università degli Studi di Firenze in 2000. Later, they further enhanced their qualifications by earning a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Elementary Reading & Literacy from Walden University.
