Schaler Perry

After receiving a BS in Environmental Studies from Florida State University, a desire for more consistent surf brought Schaler to California where he joined Surfline in 2009 and spent the early years keeping the coffee pot full and learning from the talented team here. After several years in the ranks, he bolstered learnings with an MS in Applied Meteorology from Mississippi State University. The best part of the job for him is “logging field research time to validate your work when it’s pumping, bonus if you nailed the forecast.”
