Mariana Roudaut Risso

Mariana Roudaut Risso is an experienced professional in policy communications and digital engagement, currently serving as the Policy Communications Lead and Social Media Lead at Surfrider Foundation Europe since March 2022. Concurrently, Mariana holds the position of Youth 4 Ocean Advocate with the European Commission. Prior experience includes roles such as Partnership Development Officer at King's College London, Outreach and Communications Assistant at the Ocean & Climate Platform, and Media Intern at The ONE Campaign. Mariana also contributed as a Communications Intern at the International Institute for Environment and Development and worked on various journalistic and media projects during academic pursuits, including reporting for Where To? Travel Magazine. Education includes a Master's degree in Environment, Politics & Globalisation from King's College London and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism Studies from The University of Sheffield.
