Sarah Damron

Sarah Damron is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in organizational support, policy advocacy, and campaign management within environmental and community-focused sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Regional Manager at The Surfrider Foundation since October 2006, Sarah provides vital support to 17 volunteer-led chapters across the Southeast, Texas, and Great Lakes regions. Previous roles include Chapters Manager and Regional Manager, where Sarah facilitated campaigns, developed leadership resources, and coordinated volunteer recruitment. Additionally, Sarah served as Secretary of the Board for The Otter Project / Monterey Coastkeeper and as Staff Director at Ohio Citizen Action. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Economics from The Ohio State University.
