Derek Houdyshell is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the advertising and media technology sectors. Currently serving as VP of Commerce Media at Surfside since October 2024, Derek focuses on helping retailers enhance customer experiences and engage high-intent consumers. Prior roles include Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Kevel, where Derek oversaw the Retail Media Cloud platform, and various leadership positions at Index Exchange, PubMatic, HotChalk, 365 Plus Media, and Glam Media, contributing to advanced advertising solutions and publisher development. Derek co-founded 365 Plus Media and began a career in the industry as a Regional Manager at Mass Movement, Inc. Educational credentials include a BS in Marketing from San Francisco State University.
