Surge Institute
Sasha Villagrana-Frost is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Associate Dean, Senior Director of Educator Preparation, and Project Director of HSI Teacher Pipeline Initiatives at National Louis University since January 2022, while also contributing as a Surge Fellow at the Surge Institute since September 2023. Previous roles include positions such as Digital Learning Specialist at Wiley and various leadership roles at Chicago Public Schools, where significant achievements included accelerating language program curriculums and implementing successful academic support initiatives. Sasha holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Doctor of Education in Strategic Educational Leadership from National Louis University and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Northeastern Illinois University.
