Edison S.

Edison S. started their work experience in 2010 as an IT Production Specialist at Formedics Communications Inc, where they migrated applications from VB6 to VB.NET and improved code functionality. In 2011, they joined LifeLabs as an IT Systems Developer, implementing an Online Booking System and performing database analysis and development tasks.

In 2012, Edison joined KUBRA and took on various roles, including Team Lead and Software Developer/Problem Analyst. Edison focused on back-end applications written in C# and VB.NET, led a team of developers on different projects, and handled analytical problem-solving tasks.

In 2017, Edison worked as a Senior .NET Developer at Canada Goose before moving on to become a Senior Software Engineer at Surge Software in 2018. Edison also founded their own company, Intelligent Metrics Inc, to provide consulting services and contracting work.

Edison served as a Regional Pedagogical Director (Interim) at EPITECH - European Institute of Technology in 2018 and as a Lecturer at Cestar College of Business, Health and Technology.

Finally, in 2020, Edison took on the role of an Author at Pluralsight, where they share their expertise and knowledge in software development.

Edison S. began their education journey in 2002 at Technical Economical High School, where they pursued a diploma in Economics until 2007. Following this, from 2007 to 2010, they attended George Brown College to obtain an Advanced Diploma in Computer Programmer Analyst. In 2012, Edison enrolled at McMaster University to pursue a Bachelor of Technology in Software Engineering, which they completed in 2016. Continuing their educational pursuits, they pursued a Business Management Certificate at Mohawk College starting from 2016. Unfortunately, no specific end year was mentioned for their time at Mohawk College.
