Abigail Shaw MSc ANutr has a diverse work experience in the field of health and wellbeing. Abigail currently works as a Health Coach at Surgery Hero, a digital clinic for surgery that helps individuals prepare for and recover from surgery at home. Previously, they served as a PCN Manager at Tadcaster and Selby Rural PCN. Prior to that, they worked as a Health and Wellbeing Coach for the NHS and as a Wellness Worker for Kirklees Council. Abigail also gained experience as a Health and Wellbeing Coach at Reed Wellbeing, where they delivered the National Diabetes and Prevention Programme and provided smoking cessation intervention in socially deprived areas of Leeds. Additionally, they gained practical experience during a work placement at Morrisons, where they worked alongside the company nutritionist and analyzed nutrition information for products and recipes.
Abigail Shaw MSc ANutr attended Leeds Beckett University from 2015 to 2017, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Nutrition in Practice. Prior to that, they studied at the University of Lincoln from 2007 to 2010 and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. In 2019, they obtained the certification of Registered Associate Nutritionist (ANutr) from the Association for Nutrition. Additionally, in 2015, they obtained the Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering from the Royal Society for Public Health.
