Staci Sutermaster has worked in various research and consultancy roles in healthcare technology and social problems. Staci has worked in Surgo Health, Surgo Ventures, Surgo Foundation, JiVitA Project, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, World Health Organization (WHO), Jhpiego, and Institute for International Programs (IIP), Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. In addition, they have worked as a Monitoring & Evaluation Princeton in Africa Fellow at Lwala Community Alliance, a Fellow at One Heart Source, and a Research Assistant at Penn State Humanitarian Engineering and Social Entrepreneurship Program. Their work experience ranges from digital health consultancy to behavioral science and data science research, and they have expertise in addressing health and social inequities.
Staci Sutermaster earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Schreyer Honors College at Penn State in 2015. Staci then went on to earn a Masters of Science in Public Health with a focus in International Health and Health Systems from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, completing their studies in 2019.
