David Biton has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. David currently holds the position of R&D Engineering Manager at Suridata, where they are responsible for overseeing the vision, strategy, and engineering management of Suridata's SaaS Security platform. David is also a member of the executive leadership team.
Prior to Suridata, David was a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead at LeO, where they directed the App & Data team of 5 engineers in the insure-tech industry.
Before LeO, David worked at Change Healthcare, where they had two roles. David first served as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead, leading an 8-member R&D team in developing a medical data viewer & smart report system for cardiologists. Later, they transitioned to a Senior Fullstack Software Developer role in the innovation team, where they developed a system that intelligently assigns tasks to radiologists, including a web-based medical image viewer.
David's experience also includes a role as a Fullstack Software Developer at Mertens Hoffman - Malam Team, where they developed responsive web applications and services for a security organization.
Prior to that, they worked at Opisoft, where they held two roles. David first served as a Software Developer, and later transitioned to a Senior Network Engineer role, where they focused on the development of network applications, interfacing existing systems, and automation.
David's early career started in the Israel Defense Forces, where they served as a Computer Department Team Leader. In this role, they directed 6 soldiers and managed command and control systems, communication systems, and information security.
Throughout their career, David has demonstrated their expertise in engineering management, software development, team leadership, and working in various industries such as SaaS security, insure-tech, healthcare, and defense.
David Biton completed their education in the field of Computer Science. David started by attending Himelfarb High School from 2006 to 2010, where they acquired the necessary foundation in Computer Science. After that, in 2014, they studied at John Bryce, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. Later, from 2015 to 2018, David attended the Holon Institute of Technology, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained several certifications, including CCNA, Exchange 2013, and MCSA Server 2012, all from Cisco. However, it is not specified when they obtained the Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.
