Roi Reichart

Roi Reichart has had a varied and successful career in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP). Roi began their career in 2012 as an NLP consultant for ExB Group. Roi then went on to become a visiting research scientist at Yahoo! Inc. in 2014. In 2013, they took up the role of Assistant Professor at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and was promoted to Associate Professor in the same institution. In 2015, they became a Visiting Professor at the University of Cambridge. In 2017, they became an NLP consultant for Gong.io. In 2020, they were appointed Chief Scientist at Suridata.ai and also took up the role of NLP consultant for Hi Auto. In 2021, they became a Visiting Researcher for Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning at Meta, as well as a Visiting By-fellow at Churchill College, University of Cambridge. Roi is currently serving as Co-editor in Cheif for Transactions of the ACL (MIT press) at the Association for Computational Linguistics, a role they have held since 2022.

Roi Reichart has a comprehensive education history. Roi completed a B.A. in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel in 2003. Roi then pursued a PhD in Natural Language Processing, Computational Neuroscience and Machine Learning from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, which they completed in 2010. After that, they completed two post-docs, one at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Computer Science and Natural Language Processing and one at University of Cambridge in Computer Science and Natural Language Processing.
