Tim Phillips

Tim Phillips is a skilled engineer specializing in aerospace and space engineering, currently serving as a Senior Operations Engineer at Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd since June 2025. Previously, Tim held multiple roles at Saber Astronautics, including Spacecraft Operations Engineer, Mechatronics Engineer, Parabolic Flight Researcher, and Graduate Space Engineer from February 2020 to May 2025. Tim also served as the Aerodynamics Lead for the Rocketry Division at ADEPT University of Adelaide from July 2018 to February 2020 and worked as a Merchandiser at Strikeforce AMC between January 2016 and November 2019. Additionally, Tim took on the role of Team Leader and Leadership Training Facilitator at Project Everest Ventures from January 2018 to February 2019. Tim holds a Master of Engineering in Space from UNSW, pursued from February 2022 to December 2024, and an Honours Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical and Aerospace from the University of Adelaide, completed in March 2020.
