Lauren Compton

LEAP Program Coordinator at Surrey Schools

Lauren Compton has extensive experience in education, currently serving as the LEAP Program Coordinator and Teacher at Surrey Schools since September 2018, with roles that include Indigenous Graduation Advocate and department leadership positions in Indigenous and Social Studies. Previously, Lauren Compton was a Teacher in the Humanities Department Head and English at School District #36 Surrey from September 2007 to June 2018. Academically, Lauren Compton holds a Master of Education in Imaginative Education from Simon Fraser University (2010-2012), a Bachelor of Education in Curriculum Development from Simon Fraser University (2005-2007), and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Victoria (2001-2005).
