Naela Aslam

Naela Aslam is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and special education. Currently serving as a teacher at School District #36 (Surrey) since September 2016, Naela has previously worked as a Special Education/Inclusion Coach at Vanderbilt University and Abu Dhabi Education Council from September 2013 to July 2016. Naela's expertise includes leadership roles, having been the Head of English Faculty at Abu Dhabi Education Council from September 2011 to July 2013, and starting as a teacher within the same organization from September 2009 to July 2011. Academic qualifications include a Master of Education in School and Applied Child Psychology from the University of Calgary and a Master of Education in Leadership in Inclusive Education from Charles Sturt University, alongside a comprehensive educational background from The University of British Columbia.
