Valerie Layne

Valerie Layne, Ed.D., serves as the DFW Area Superintendent and leads the Aspiring Administrator Academy Program at International Leadership of Texas. Valerie also holds the position of Executive Director of School Leadership and Innovation. At Texas Tech University, Valerie contributes as the Texas Tech Black Alumni Network Scholarship Chair. Valerie's previous experience includes roles as an Assistant Principal and Teacher within Fort Worth ISD.
