Patricia Wocknitz

Patricia Wocknitz is an experienced educator specializing in inclusive education. Since September 2016, Patricia has served as an Inclusion Support Teacher for Surrey Schools, collaborating with a team to enhance educational programs for students. Previously, Patricia worked as an Intensive Intervention Program Classroom Teacher, providing tailored support to students with complex needs. In addition, Patricia was an Adjunct Professor at The University of British Columbia, focusing on preparing teacher candidates to support diverse learners through anti-ableist approaches. Prior experience includes roles as a Special Education Teacher and Substitute Teacher with the Vancouver School Board and as a Project Manager at North Arm Transportation. Patricia holds a Master of Education in Supporting Inclusive Education and additional qualifications in Special Education, Montessori Training, and Geography, reflecting a strong commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments.
