Alan Lavizzo has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Alan started their career as a Teacher at Floyd Middle School in 2001, where they taught various subjects. Later, they served as an Administrator at the same school before transitioning to the role of Assistant Principal at Cobb County School District in 2008. In 2012, Alan moved to Denver Public Schools, where they worked as an Assistant Principal for a year. Alan then joined Cherry Creek School District in 2013 as an Assistant Principal and eventually progressed to the role of Middle School Principal. Currently, Alan is working as the Human Resources Director at Cherry Creek School District since 2020.
Alan Lavizzo completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Criminal Justice at Grambling State University from 1994 to 1998. Alan pursued further education in Secondary Education and Teaching at the University of West Georgia from 2001 to 2002. Finally, they obtained a Master of Science in Education in Educational Leadership from Jacksonville State University between 2004 and 2006.
