Jessica Epps

Jess Epps, PhD, currently serves as a Data Science Manager at Susan G. Komen since March 2022, focusing on patient-centered research and big data in breast cancer. Epps also works as a Contract Editor for BioScience Writers, LLC, consulting on over 100 scientific documents since October 2017. Previous experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Baylor College of Medicine, where collaboration between scientific disciplines was emphasized to explore therapeutic vulnerabilities in pediatric cancers. Epps has a strong background in fitness instruction, having taught group classes at Piranha Fitness Studio, and has contributed to research at Texas A&M University as a Graduate Research Assistant. Epps holds a PhD in Genetics from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences from Abilene Christian University.
