Nicky Heins

Nicky Heins is an experienced professional in event planning and fundraising, currently serving as the Manager of Event Planning & Experience at Susan G. Komen since July 2022. Prior roles include Development Engagement Manager for the West, Manager of Fundraising Events at the Detroit Zoological Society from September 2019 to April 2021, and various positions at Forgotten Harvest from April 2013 to September 2019, culminating as Events & Cause Marketing Manager. Nicky also held the Volunteer Services Director position at the Detroit Free Press/Talmer Bank Marathon between April 2017 and November 2018, and served as Regional Manager & Education Specialist at The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy from December 2011 to April 2013. Earlier in the career, Nicky was the Assistant Center Director at Childtime Learning Centers from January 2009 to December 2011. Nicky Heins graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan in 2006.
