Olivia McGinn

Olivia McGinn, PhD, is a Scientific Communications Manager at Susan G. Komen since November 2022, where responsibilities include developing scientific partnerships and translating breast cancer research for general audiences. Prior to this, Olivia was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh from February 2021 to November 2022, focusing on the metastatic patterns of invasive lobular breast cancer and engaging in co-culture studies and mentoring. Olivia earned a PhD in Cancer Biology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus from 2015 to 2020 and previously worked as a Junior Scientist at the University of Minnesota after completing a BS in Genetics, Cell Biology, and Development from the same institution.
