Laurent Mechain

Laurent Mechain is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in cloud, strategic alliances, and business operations. Currently serving as the Global Head of Cloud at SUSE since November 2024, Laurent previously held key positions at Elastic as Vice President of Strategic Alliances, and at Amazon Web Services as Global Alliance and GTM Lead for Microsoft Workloads. With a strong background in managing significant revenue portfolios and leading go-to-market strategies, Laurent has also held various directorial roles at Microsoft, overseeing operations, channel programs, and strategic initiatives that influenced substantial revenue growth. Laurent's educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Science and Business from Arts et Métiers ParisTech and a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Sciences from the University Institute of Technology.
