Francy Magee

VP, Student Life & Dean of Students at Susquehanna University

Francy Magee is the Vice President of Student Life & Dean of Students at Susquehanna University. Previously, they served as the Associate Provost & Dean of Students at Clark University from January 2016 to December 2021. In this role, they were the Chief Student Affairs Officer and oversaw offices that promote student success, including Residential Life & Housing, Student Leadership & Programming, Counseling & Personal Growth, Health Services, New Student Orientation & Family Programs, and Multicultural & First Generation Student Support. Francy also initiated a Strategic Enrollment Management Committee in partnership with the Dean of the College that aimed to enhance institutional support of students' experiences across campus. In addition, they served as the administrative chair for the Board of Trustees Student Affairs Committee.

Before their time at Clark University, they were an Instructor in the Higher Education Administration doctoral program at New England College and the Dean for Campus Life at New York Institute of Technology from January 2006 to December 2016.

Francy Magee is a dedicated educator with over 15 years of experience in student affairs and administration. Francy is committed to promoting student success and enhancing the student experience across all aspects of university life.

Fancy Magee has a Doctor of Education from Teachers College, Columbia University in Organization and Leadership/Higher and Postsecondary Education. Francy also has a Bachelor of Arts from Randolph College in Communication and German Studies. Lastly, they have a Master of Education from the University of Virginia in Counselor Education.

Francy Magee reports to Jonathan D. Green, President. They are on a team with Mike Coyne - Executive Vice President, Melissa Komora - Vice President for Advancement, and DJ Menifee - VP for Enrollment.
