Cory Sanderson

VP of Technology at Sustaera

Cory Sanderson has over 14 years of work experience in the engineering field. In 2021, they began working as the VP of Technology at Sustaera. Prior to that, they were a Process Technologist at Susteon Inc. from 2019 to 2021. From 2007 to 2019, they worked at Air Products in various capacities, including Sr. Research Engineer, HyCO Process & Adsorption Engineer, Principal Research Engineer, Plant Process Engineer, Air Separation Process Engineer, and Controls Engineer. In their role as Sr. Research Engineer, they led the development of innovative, patent pending, adsorption based technology for light noble gas recovery. As a HyCO Process & Adsorption Engineer, they were part of a team that designed, built, and started up a 1MMTPY carbon capture and sequestration plant. As a Controls Engineer, they set up advanced controls, specifically batch tracking software, for newly acquired chemical plants.

Cory Sanderson obtained a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (BCHE) degree from the University of Delaware in 2007. In April 2019, they completed a specialization in Engineering Project Management from Coursera.
