Heather Lynch

Manager, Global Membership Development at Sustainable Apparel Coalition

Heather Lynch is the Manager, Global Membership Development at the SAC. In her role, she is focused on the growth of SAC’s membership base by articulating and demonstrating the benefits of joining the coalition. By building and leveraging relationships, she gathers knowledge to help advance and strengthen the coalition’s (and thus the industry’s) impact across the globe. She is based in Vermont.

Heather joins the SAC with over fifteen years of experience in the higher education sustainability sector where she led the sustainability initiatives at Saint Michael’s College as the first Director of Sustainability. She maintained the college’s greenhouse gas inventory, completed its first sustainability assessment and taught in the Environmental Studies department. Prior to joining the SAC, she worked as the Membership Development Manager for AASHE (the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability), which developed the first higher ed sector-wide sustainability assessment, STARS. She has a B.S. in Environmental Conservation from the University of New Hampshire and an M.S. in Sustainable Food Systems from Green Mountain College.
