Irene Ward is an experienced professional currently serving as Acting Programme Manager for Research, Development & Demonstration at the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland since June 2021. Prior to this role, Irene held several positions at University College Dublin from February 2010 to June 2021, including Research Project Manager for the Research, Innovation and Impact Group and Project Manager for various European projects. Irene's earlier career includes managing the International Centre for Mathematical Sciences, overseeing community education in East Cambridgeshire, and establishing a training center at Soham Village College. Irene is pursuing an MSc in Environmental Sustainability at University College Dublin, building on a solid educational background that includes a Master's in Management and a Bachelor's degree in Geography.
