Grecia Pérez

Grecia Pérez is a member of the Engineering Team at Sustainable Investment Group (SIG) as a full-time Energy Consultant. In her role she mainly focuses on the development and management of multiple building energy modeling projects for certifications, decarbonization studies and daylight models.

In 2018 Grecia participated in research activities focused on reducing energy consumption in non-residential buildings, later in 2020 she began working full-time as a consultant specialized in energy modeling in Monterrey, Mexico. Grecia has also worked as Project Manager of projects that pursue LEED certification as an Environmental Consultant. She also has experience in Commissioning (Cx) and ASHRAE Audits L1 and L2. She has also been in a support role for EDGE Project Certifications.

Grecia graduated in 2017 from Universidad Veracruzana with a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering and 2 years later of a MSc. in Energy Energineering. During the Master Grecia belonged to the Energy and Climate Change Research Group, as well as to the Consortium for Energy Efficiency in Buildings, where she developed research studies related with energy performance in buildings. Grecia was selected by the National Council for Science and Technology (Conacyt) to participate in these R&D activities within Mexico.
