Leon Kipkoech

Leon Kipkoech is an accomplished researcher and technologist currently serving as a part-time Research Intern at MIT Media Lab, focusing on dynamic Computer Vision models for Human-Robot Interaction within the International Space Station. With experience as a Research Collaborator at UCF Department of Computer Science and as Technical Director at MindScape Health, Leon has honed expertise in areas such as Haptics and situational awareness. Previous roles include a Cloud Engineer Intern at Commvault, where Leon improved incident tracking efficiency, and a Lead Engineer as part of NASA’s L’SPACE NPWEE program, specializing in computational modeling for space technologies. Leon's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, with a focus on Software Engineering from Florida National University.
