Jeff Servesko is a highly experienced chemist with a diverse background in both academic and industrial settings. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Suterra since November 2021, Jeff previously held positions at Nalco Champion—first as Lead Chemist and later as Principal Chemist—where expertise in the synthesis and application of small molecules and polymers for Flow Assurance in the Oil & Gas industry was demonstrated. Other prior roles include Research Scientist at Scynexis, Inc., PostDoctoral Scholar at the California Institute of Technology, and Graduate Researcher at UCSB, focusing on areas such as pharmaceutical process chemistry and asymmetric metal catalysis. Jeff's career began as an Assistant Researcher at International Flavors and Fragrances and Dupont Agrichemicals, specializing in the synthesis of compounds for fragrance and insecticide research. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from UC Santa Barbara and a B.S. in Chemistry from Penn State University.
